Information I collect

Information you give me. When you use the contact form, I collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, and anything you choose to include in your message. When you book an appointment, you provide the details needed to make that booking, which may include the reason for your visit.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site uses cookies and similar technologies to collect technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, and how you use the site. You can manage your preferences through the cookie consent banner.

Health information. I do not ask you to submit detailed health or medical information through this website. Any health-related details you do provide — for example, the reason for an appointment — are treated as "sensitive information" under the Privacy Act, collected only with your consent and used only to arrange and provide your care. Information shared during a clinical consultation is handled separately under my professional and clinical record-keeping obligations.

How I use your information

I use the information you provide to:

• respond to your enquiries;
• arrange and manage your appointments;
• provide the services you request;
• maintain and improve the website.

I will not use your information for unrelated purposes without your consent.

Third-party services used on this site

This site uses a small number of external services:

• Contact form (Bit Form). The contact form is built with the Bit Form plugin. Submissions are sent to my email so I can respond to your enquiry, and are kept only as long as needed for that purpose.
• Appointment booking (Cliniko). The "Book an appointment" page embeds Cliniko, a third-party booking and practice-management platform. The details you enter to book are processed by Cliniko under its own privacy terms.
• Google Maps. The contact page embeds Google Maps. When the map loads, Google may receive your IP address and usage data, subject to Google's privacy policy.

Disclosure to third parties

Beyond the services above, I may share limited information with providers who help run the website and my practice (such as website hosting and email), only as needed to deliver those services. I do not sell your personal information. I may disclose information where required by law.

Overseas storage

Some of the service providers above may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. I take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles wherever it is held.

Automated decision-making

I do not use automated decision-making or AI profiling to make decisions that significantly affect you.

I take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but I use reputable service providers and reasonable safeguards.

If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, I will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
